A STUDY OF SELECTED SYMBOLS IN GONE WITH THE WIND
This rescarch presents selected symbols of Gone with the Wind . The aim of thist research is to tind out the symbols in the novel whether these symbols are people or Objects.There are five chapters in this research and the researcher divides them as followS:
In the lirst chapter, the researcher attcmpts to answer the questions. 1he sccond chapter presents some social and historical background ot the society Gone with the Wind. And mainly introduces selected symbols and their meanings according to the novel.
The third chapter introduces the importance ot symbols and the aims of using them.
Chapter four, the importance ot symbolism in literature. Chapter five, suggests some recommendations of using symbols.
